Also the deep tissue portion is primarily forearm based with long rhythmic strokes to create a sense of deep relaxation. For a lover of Thai massage, and also deep tissue it's a must to try. Myofascial Release/Trigger Point Therapy
Myofascial Release focuses on muscles and the fascia(connective tissue) that surrounds it. Utilizing techniques with slow moving, specific strokes on the muscles and fascia, along with client movement (passive and active) creates lengthning and more fluidity in the area. This improves imbalances and releases restrictions in the myofascial tissue, relieving pain and creating proper alignment to the area and the whole. Incorperating Trigger Point, includes manual applied pressure to active trigger points located within the muscle tissue. Trigger Points are those little"knots" that restrict normal range of movement, and refer pain to other areas. Each muscle and muscle group has a specific map of trigger point locations. Manual releasing these "points" instantly decreases pain, and improves range of motion.
